What an exciting week of racing for our juniors in Andorra, Alan becoming the XC champ and our own Alex Miller on the podium of Race to the Sea! This weekend we have the Otjihavera experience to look forward to!
Incredible to think our first ever National Gravel Champs will be next month! You still have time to enter and to take part in this inaugural event!
Training:
Tuesday: 60min Core and legs! Smash it! Then warm up 20min followed by 5 sets of 3min super high cadence, followed by 3min recovery. Cool down 20min.
Wednesday: Warm up 20min and then a big grind in a big gear. Grind 3min hard and slow (standing if you want), recover 5min and repeat 4x. Cool down 10-20min.
Thursday: Core and upper body 60min. Then warm up 10-20min, followed by some sprints. Sprint 1km, recover 1km and repeat 7-8x. Cool down 10-20min.
Friday: easy 45 Spin.
Saturday: Enjoy Otjivahera or do a simulation ride for Nationals. 4 hours rolling hills.
Sunday: Recovery 2-3 hours.
Monday: Recovery.
