While the race has been the African Championship since 2025, this official designation by the CAC and UCI for 2026 cements its status as the premier gravel event on the African continent. The dust of the Khomas Hochland will once again witness the crowning of Africa’s premier gravel kings and queens, but with the added weight of an official UCI Gravel World Series qualifier, making this a globally significant fixture on the international racing calendar.

In 2026, the Khomas100 once again evolves into the CAC AFRICAN CONTINENTAL GRAVEL BIKE CHAMPIONSHIP – UCI GRAVEL SERIES. Riders from across the continent and the globe will converge on Windhoek to battle for:
