Remember you can bring up to 4 family members to join in on the fun after the race and use all the Gross Barmen facilities for the day.

2025 Race Options

The age limit for the full distance is 18

Entries will close at midnight on 10 August 2025.

157km Solo

Elite Namibian winners (male and female) will be crowned Namibian National Champions.
Elite African winners (male and female) will be crowned African Continental Champions.
Plus earn a spot to UCI World Champs 2025 (Elite or Age Group).

Race Registration will be on Friday, 22 August, from 15:00 to 18:00 at the New CYMOT Hilltop in Kleine Kuppe. With a general  race briefing at 18:00.

When and where does the Khomas100 race start?

The race starts at different times depending on the distance:

157km: Starts at 7:00 at CYMOT, Kleine Kuppe.

84km: Group start at 7:30 at the NWR Gross Barmen Resort.

44km: Group start at 8:00 at NWR Gross Barmen Resort.

What is the Khomas100 route like and do I need a specific bike?

The route is 157km with approximately 2000m of elevation gain, with a mix of flat and hilly terrain.

Gravel bikes are ideal, but modifications to your mountain bike are allowed. Please contact racedirector@khomas.com.na for more info.

Mountain bikes and E-bikes are also welcome.

Road bikes are not recommended.

A GPS device is mandatory to navigate the route. Route files can be viewed here under the Routes tab.

What are the water points and cut-off times for Khomas100?

There are five water points along the route.

157km Cut-off enforced at 17:00.
84km Cut-off at 13:00.
44km Cut-off at 11:30.

What are the Khomas100 prizes?

There is over N$150 000 in prize money for the 157km riders, with separate podiums for men and women in each category.

No cash prizes for E-bikes, 84km or 44km riders.

88km winners will receive prize hampers.

How do I get back to Windhoek after the Khomas100 race and what facilities are at the finish?

A free shuttle service will run from the NWR Gross Barmen Resort to Windhoek every two hours from 14:00. Contact Frank on frank@cycletec.com.na.

Food, drinks, showers, and swimming pools will be available at the finish line venue. Visit the NWR Gross Barmen Resort for more info.
